Josh and Anna Duggar break silence, post birthday photos of son Michael

Josh Duggar and his wife Anna Duggar broke their silence on social media Tuesday to celebrate their son Michael's fourth birthday with a sweet photo and a video of the birthday boy blowing out candles.

In a show of family harmony, Josh Duggar, 27, took to Instagram today to congratulate and post a photo of his grinning middle child. "HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY MICHAEL JAMES!" he captioned it.

The couple and parents of three had been trying to fly under the media's radar in the weeks following an expose of sexual abuse allegations against Josh Duggar when he was a teen, that broke on May 18.

After the news hit, the reality show "19 Kids and Counting" was suspended, and Josh Duggar quit his job at the Family Research Council. His parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, and two of his five accusers, sisters Jill and Jessa, spoke out in his support.

Anna Duggar, his wife of seven years, also posted a scene from the celebration on her own Instagram account; a short black-and-white video of Michael blowing out candles on cupcakes surrounded by his siblings and cousins at Jim Bob and Michelle Duggars Arkansas home, where they are purportedly living currently.

So glad to be in Arkansas celebrating Michael's 4th birthday -- we love you Mikey!

More photos of Michael and his family appeared on the Duggar's main Facebook page Tuesday "This boy is 4 years old today!" the post reads. "He is clever and he is kind. There was a time we could not imagine anything as amazing than being parents. Now, we are grandparents too and we absolutely love everything about it! Happy, happy birthday Michael! Grandma and Grandpa Duggar love you so much!"
