People reports that Berry originally hurt herself while shooting the film "Cloud Atlas" in Majorca, Spain. She reportedly suffered the injury while running after her 3-year-old daughter, Nahla, who was chasing a goat "across a stretch of rocky countryside."

Berry, 45, won the best actress prize at the 2002 Oscars ceremony, for her role in "Monster's Ball."
