Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are divorcing
Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are headed for a divorce after two years of marriage.
"It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce," Berry and Martinez, both 49, said in a joint statement per ET. "We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life and we hope that you respect our and, most importantly, our children's privacy as we go through this difficult period."
The former couple linked up on the set of "Dark Tide" in 2010 and wed three years later on July 13, 2013 in France. In October 2013, they welcomed son Maceo-Robert. Berry also has 7-year-old daughter Nahla Ariela with her ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry.
Berry recently starred in the CBS series "Extant" and will next appear in the 2016 thriller "Kidnap." Martinez, meanwhile, recently appeared in the History Channel mini-series "Texas Rising."
