Distraught defendant loses it; Miami judge gets another live one on the bench

Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat dealt with another lively suspect at Miami-Dade Circuit Court.

Rodriguez-Chomat first made the internet rounds when he scolded Penelope Soto, a Florida teen who was jailed after giggling throughout the proceeding and flipping the judge off in court. She avoided a month behind bars by apologizing to him in person.

On Monday, a woman accused of trying to kill her husband had an outburst in court that may make viewers want to turn down the volume. Video shows her screaming at Rodriguez-Chomat in English and Spanish and refusing to leave the courtroom.

Blanca Reglado was denied bond after admitting to stabbing her husband multiple times. She began screaming and saying her leg was broken.

"She did make spontaneous statements to our officers that she's tired of him, so she stabbed him, and he's a drunk," said Officer Freddie Cruz.
