The most anticipated performances of Coachella 2014

It's time to break out the sunscreen and festival dresses because the 2014 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is under way. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-to-high-90s this weekend in Indio, Calif.

One of the most anticipated performances will take place on day 1 when a reunited OutKast takes the stage to close out Friday night. It marks the hip-hop duo's 20th anniversary and first live reunion in seven years. ndre 3000 and Big Boi, who went on hiatus following the release of its 2006 album "Idlewild," are expected to debut some new tunes.

More than 150 acts will perform throughout the two weekends. Muse will headline the Saturday shows, and Arcade Fire will close out Sunday nights.

Grammy-winner Lorde will make her first appearance at festival, and other performer highlights include The Replacements, Beck, Calvin Harris, Broken Bells, Haim, Neko Case, MGMT, Girl Talk, Foster the People, Ellie Goulding, Neutral Milk Hotel, Lana Del Rey, Pharrell Williams, Chromeo and Queens of the Stone Age.

The same slate of acts will play over the April 18-20 weekend.

Several celebrities will be in attendance taking in the shows, including Lea Michele and Vanessa Hudgens.

Last year, Katy Perry, Robert Pattinson and even Clint Eastwood were all spotted in Indio.
