(CBS News) Here's a look at the week ahead on our "Sunday Morning" calendar:


On Monday, same-sex marriages begin in Hawaii, the 15th state to make them legal.


Tuesday sees the lighting of the U.S. Capitol Christmas tree, with House Speaker John Boehner presiding.

Wednesday, First Lady Michelle Obama welcomes military families to the White House for a first viewing of the holiday decorations there.


On Thursday, various costumes and props from the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy go on auction, including Frodo's sword, estimated to go for $100,000 or more.

Friday night is the night for the announcement of this year's Grammy nominations, in a broadcast here on CBS.

And Saturday, December 7th, is Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, with ceremonies in Hawaii and around the country marking the 72nd anniversary of the Japanese attack that took the lives of more than 2,400 Americans.
