University of Minnesota cheerleading team taking sport to the next level
It's a sport unlike any other. It involves acrobatics, gymnastics, and the selfless art of supporting other athletes. Competitive cheer, where teams perform elite dance, cheer, and tumbling routines, increased nearly 14% in 2024–25, making it one of the 10 fastest-growing established girls' activities.
