The Dakota's free block party returns to Nicollet Mall this Saturday
Dakota founder Lowell Pickett says this year's free block party, running 2 to 10 p.m. on Nicollet Mall, centers on musicians with Twin Cities roots — 12 bands across three stages, plus food and a kids' area.
