Increased security presence helping boost Metro Transit ridership
Minneapolis says its summer safety plans includes putting more officers on patrol, walking or biking their beats to be more visible. And after years of crime concerns on the light rail and city buses, Metro Transit has beefed up its law enforcement presence too.
