Hennepin County Attorney to take over Rickey Cobb II case
Ricky Cobb the second was shot by a trooper on July 31st after he was pulled over because his taillights weren't on. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension then took lead on the case. They have now turned over all of their evidence to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office. Attorney Mary Moriarty says they will begin reviewing the case immediately and in a statement says:
