Daycare owner charged with fraud tried to book flight the day she closed her center, charges say
Fahima Mahamud, owner of Future Leaders Early Learning Center in Minneapolis, faces federal wire fraud charges and is on house arrest after prosecutors say she booked a flight to London the same day she notified the state her daycare was closing.
