Boy dead after being struck by truck while riding scooter in Brooklyn Park
Police in Brooklyn Park are trying to figure out what led to a crash that killed an 8-year-old boy. Officials said he was riding an electric scooter at the intersection of Candlewood Drive and Brunswick Avenue North when he was hit by a pickup truck.
