The southern Minnesota city of Waseca has closed several beaches, boat ramps and bodies of water due to possible water contamination.
Part of Waseca is washed out after getting hit with large amounts of rain. Around 10 inches fell in the area over the weekend, flooding basements and dumping wastewater into lakes. Caroline Cummings reports that it’s a problem that’s familiar to residents who’ve been seeking solutions for years.
