The body of a missing 19-year-old man from Eagan has been found. Elijah Buchannan went missing two weeks ago after police say he fled home after a family disturbance. Dakota County Authorities found his body in a wooded area of Patrick Eagan Park Saturday. His mother, Melanie Buchanan, says they found him less than a half mile from his home.

A Dakota County judge has ruled that a rare two-county indictment against a man charged with killing a police officer is legal. Thirty-nine-year-old Brian Fitch Sr. has pleaded not guilty in the July 30 shooting death of Mendota Heights police officer Scott Patrick.
