Tyler Scaife scored a season-high 28 points, on 12-of-21 shooting, to lead No. 25 Rutgers women past No. 21 Minnesota 66-61 on Saturday night.
Andre Hollins helped Minnesota pull away with 17 of his 28 points in the second half, fueling a 79-71 victory Saturday over Illinois. A complaint has been filed against the University of Minnesota that alleges gender discrimination in intercollegiate athletics. The university says in a statement that a complaint was filed with the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights.
