Wisconsin Man Checking For Deer Killed By Vehicle
LAKEWOOD, Wis. (AP) -- A man has died while walking along an Oconto County highway after the vehicle he was riding in hit a deer.
Sheriff's authorities say the 20-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene early Sunday on Highway 32 near Lakewood.
Deputy Troy Sherman says the man was a passenger in a vehicle that hit a deer.
He got out of the vehicle to look for the deer and was struck by a vehicle driven by a Crivitz man.
