Wild Moose Illegally Killed In NW Minnesota
FOSSTON, Minn. (AP) — Federal wildlife officials are asking for the public's help in finding whoever illegally killed a wild moose in northwestern Minnesota.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says wildlife officers discovered a moose that had been shot and left to waste during the 2014 firearms deer season. The moose was killed a few miles south of Fosston.
Wildlife officials note that Minnesota's moose population is declining.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fish and Wildlife Service at 218-844-3423.
