Wiggins Named Western Conference Rookie Of The Month

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Wednesday that forward Andrew Wiggins was named the Western Conference Rookie of the Month for November.

Wiggins is the sixth Timberwolves rookie to earn the award. He joins Gorgui Dieng, Ricky Rubio, Kevin Love, Randy Foye and Stephon Marbury. Wiggins averaged 11.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.13 steals in 155 games, all starts in the month. The scoring average was second among NBA rookies.

He scored a season-high 29 points Nov. 22 against the Sacramento Kings, the highest total by a rookie this season.
