Victim In Fatal South Metro Crash ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials have identified the man killed last Friday morning in a car crash near the border of Apple Valley and Lakeville.

Osah Phetsarath, of Lakeville, died of multiple blunt force injuries stemming from a collision at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and 160th Street West, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said.

According to Lakeville police, Phetsarath was driving on Cedar Avenue when he was T-boned by a driver who ran a red light.

Phetsarath, 45, died at the scene.

The driver of the other car drove off from the scene, got out of his car and ran through a neighborhood. Authorities found him soon after naked in the basement of a townhome.
