The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that killed two people near Randolph on Saturday morning.

Officials say a 28-year-old man from Kenyon, Minnesota, in a 2016 Ram 1500 was driving the wrong way on Highway 56 when he hit a 2019 GMC Terrain head-on.

The driver of the GMC and the single passenger were both killed, according to the state patrol. They were identified as 68-year-old Peter Olson and 49-year-old Patricia Olson, both from Apple Valley.
