Races To Watch In Tuesday's Primary

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Turnout is expected to be very light for Tuesday's primary in Minnesota.

Here are the key races to watch:

One is the Republican race in the 2nd Congressional District between Matt Erickson, John Howe, Jason Lewis and Darlene Miller. The winner will face Democrat Angie Craig in November to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Rep. John Kline.

Speaker of the House Kurt Daudt also faces an unexpectedly stiff challenge from Alan Duff, a retired Army major and small businessman, in District 31A.

In District 60B, the 44-year Democratic incumbent Rep. Phyllis Kahn is in a three-way contest with Mohamud Noor and Ilhan Omar.
