Trooper Pulls Driver From Burning Semi
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A State Patrol trooper is credited with saving a semi truck driver Sunday morning from a fire.
The patrol says the driver, 58-year-old Randy Guthrie of Deer River, suffered a medial episode behind the wheel on Highway 65 in Aitkin County.
His truck also started on fire.
The trooper responded and was able to get Guthrie out before the semi was fully engulfed in flames.
Guthrie was brought to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
