Thousands Still Without Power After Storms
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two days after powerful storms hit the metro, thousands of people are still without power.
High winds knocked down two high voltage power lines around Rogers on Tuesday night. It made 15 miles of roadway impassable.
Crews cut power lines, cleared all the roads on Wednesday and continued to work to restore power on Thursday.
Xcel Energy says due to the extent of the damage, it doesn't have an estimate on when service will be fully restored.
