Third Avenue Bridge In Downtown Minneapolis To Close On Monday For Two Years
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - It's the last weekend for drivers to use the Third Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis for quite some time.
The bridge which connects Central Avenue southeast with downtown Minneapolis closes Monday for repairs.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the bridge, which is more than 100 years old, is deteriorating.
The bridge will remain closed for two years. Drivers should use the Hennepin Avenue bridge instead.
