Suspect At Large After Shooting In Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot Wednesday afternoon in north Minneapolis.
Authorities said the incident happened at about 3:15 p.m. near 18th and Irving Avenues.
Police said an adult male and female were walking along the street. A vehicle pulled up and somebody inside the vehicle opened fire on the couple. The man was shot in the lower leg and transported to Hennepin County Medical Center. The female dove to the ground and suffered minor injuries. She was also taken to a hospital.
Authorities marked more than 20 shell casings on the ground at the location of the shooting. Police have limited suspect information at this time, and anyone with details about the incident or the suspect is asked to call Minneapolis Police.
