State Patrol Investigating Fatal Crash In Southern Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on a southern Minnesota highway.

The accident occurred at Highway 63 and County Road 1 in Racine, Minnesota, State Patrol said. The roadway was closed until about 12:40 p.m. as they cleared the crash.

A minvan driven by 49-year-old Marlys Sivesind was eastbound on County Road 1, crossing Highway 63, when it collided with a motorcycle going southbound, State Patrol said.

Dennis Sivesind, 52, was also in the minivan. Two other people were involved in the crash, according to State Patrol. Their identities have not been released.
