'St. Paul Hello' Welcomes New Residents With Winter Hats

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A local community group has come up with a way to welcome new residents to St. Paul.

The folks behind the group "St. Paul Hello" thought there's no better way to welcome newcomers to Minnesota than by giving them a nice warm hat to get through their first winter!

The inaugural hat giveaway will also be a time for new residents to learn about local businesses, organizations, sample local food and hear music from local bands.

They'll be hosting its first event this Tuesday.

"St. Paul Hello" hopes to host these events monthly on Tuesday at the Minnesota History Center from 5 until 8 p.m.
