Spoonbridge And Cherry Getting Fresh Paint Job
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minneapolis landmark is getting a fresh coat of paint.
On Tuesday, workers started re-painting the Spoonbridge and Cherry in the Walker Art Center's Sculpture Garden.
The famous fountain piece -- made by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen -- gets a fresh coat of paint every few years.
It's stood in the sculpture garden since 1985.
