SPCO To Hold First Rehearsal In New Concert Hall
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Musicians of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra are about to play their first official notes in their new downtown home.
The orchestra will hold its first working rehearsal Wednesday in the new Concert Hall at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts.
The hall was designed specifically for the SPCO and for presenting acoustic and electro-acoustic music in an intimate setting. No seat is more than 90 feet from the stage.
Test rehearsals and private concerts will be held at the Concert Hall over the next two months before a grand opening concert and gala on Feb. 28.
