Sheriff: Head-On Crash Kills 2 Drivers In Western Wisconsin
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A head-on crash early Monday morning left two drivers dead in western Wisconsin.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. as rain fell on U.S. Highway 8, just east of 15th Street in Beaver Township.
An eastbound vehicle crossed the highway's center lines and slammed head-on into a westbound vehicle. First responders found both drivers died in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
