Protesters Call On Gov. Dayton To Defund Planned Parenthood
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Another rally was held Sunday, calling on Governor Mark Dayton to investigate and defund Planned Parenthood.
Groups from both sides of the debate were outside the Planned Parenthood on Vandalia Street in St. Paul. Anti-abortion activists around the nation started protesting the clinic when undercover videos came out showing officials talking about the sale of fetal tissue, which Planned Parenthood strongly denies doing.
Gov. Dayton said the investigations have not and will not happen. He also says there is no evidence that groups in Minnesota have been mentioned in the undercover videos.
