Man Claims To Be Prince's Heir, Requests Blood Test

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –A man has filed paperwork in Carver County claiming to be Prince's son.

He's the first person to come forward claiming to be the sole heir to the late singer's estate.

Carlin Q. Williams, of Kansas City, is requesting a DNA test to prove he's Prince's sole heir.

His mother, Marsha Henson, claims she had unprotected sex with Prince in July of 1976 at a hotel in Kansas City.

Last week, a judge ruled to allow DNA testing on a sample of Prince's blood.

That DNA will then be used to settle any paternity claims.
