Police Search For Man Who Stole Jewelry From Kmart

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police are looking for a man accused of stealing more than $4,000 worth of jewelry from Kmart.

According to Sgt. William Palmer of the Minneapolis Police Department, the man used a tool to pry open the jewelry cabinets at a Kmart on Lake Street, during business hours, and left with up to $6,000 worth of merchandise.

The incident occurred on Sept. 4.

If anyone can identify the man, they are asked to contact the Minneapolis Police Department's Property Crimes investigator Sgt. James Jensen at 612-673-5587.
