Police: Man With Knife Entered Unlocked Home, Raped Woman
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Mankato Police are investigating after a stranger sexually assaulted a woman in her home early Monday morning.
Police say the man had a knife when he went into an unlocked home on the 100 block of Maple Drive at about 2:30 a.m.
The victim told police her attacker was a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6 feet tall with a muscular build. He was wearing a black jacket and jeans.
Police want to remind citizens to report anything suspicious in their neighborhoods, and be sure to lock doors and keep exterior lights on.
