Police Investigate Overnight Shooting In Mpls
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis Police are investigating a shooting incident that happened overnight.
Police Sgt. Stephen McCarty said authorities were dispatched to the 3200 block of Logan Avenue North at about 11 p.m. Friday on a report of shots fired.
Residents in the area told police they heard a total of six shots that were fired. Emergency personnel found a victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was taken to North Memorial Hospital, and the person's condition is not known at this time.
McCarty said there are no suspects in custody at this time, but they believe the suspect is a juvenile.
