Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Wisconsin Field

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minnesota pilot and his passenger walked away from an emergency landing Saturday morning.

The small plane from Montevideo started having engine problems near Madison, Wisconsin. The pilot then lost touch with air traffic controllers, but the 30-year-old managed to safely land in a field.

He got some fuel and was able to take off again for a nearby airport.
