State Patrol: Pedestrian, 19, Was Struck & Killed By Semi On I-494
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An Edina teenager is dead after he was hit by a semi on Interstate 494 in South St. Paul.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident happened just before 2:30 a.m. Tuesday near Concord Street.
The state patrol says the victim -- 19-year-old Samuel Oden of Edina -- was on westbound I-494 for an unknown reason when he was struck by a semi.
Westbound traffic on I-494 was closed in that area, but it has since reopened.
