No Parking Signs Coming To Streets Made Narrow By Snow

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- All the snow that's fallen this winter is causing problems for emergency vehicles in Minneapolis.

With all the snow and ice buildup along curbs, some streets are getting too narrow for fire trucks, ambulances, and buses.

Now, crews will be posting no parking signs in problem areas while they work to clear the streets.

If there's more snow in the coming weeks, the city may be forced to impose winter parking restrictions.

That would prohibit parking on one side of non-snow emergency routes throughout the city.
