New Fair Attractions: Dr. Seuss Display, Legos & Your Own Adventure Movie
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Whether you want some down time away from the games and rides or a video to remind you of the fun you had, the newest attractions have it all.
Playatta
At Playatta, near Carousel Park, you take the lead role, choosing your adventure and your costume.
There are Mardi Gras masks, colored scarves, beach balls, and cowboys hats, just to name a few props. After getting the right look, a video directs you through different scenarios, and you act out to the cues…like slow motion dancing. The end product is a video you can post online.
Playatta is $20 for a movie. It's $10 for a picture.
Dr. Seuss
If you're looking for something less interactive, head over to the Horticulture building. There, the newest attraction combines thousands of flowers and the creativity of Minnesota florists to create eight Dr. Seuss-inspired displays.
Lego Road Trip
A must stop for the youngest fair-goer is the Lego Road Trip, near Baldwin Park.
For some kids, just playing with Legos is more entertaining than any new ride could be.
The best part is that the Lego Road Trip free.
