MSP: Wing-Walker Recovering After Being Struck By De-Icing Truck
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport employee is recovering after being struck by a de-icing truck Tuesday evening.
According to MSP, around 7:45 p.m. a wing walker was struck by a de-icing truck near Gate 2.
The wing walker was transported to Abbot Northwestern Hospital.
While there has been no word on the victim's condition, MSP officials said the wing walker was conscious when transported.
According to officials, the plane was close to the terminal when the accident occurred, so the de-icing truck most likely wasn't going very fast.
