MPD Increase Patrols After 17 Robberies In 1 Week
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police have extra patrols out after an uptick in robberies in the southeast part of the city.
People have reported 17 robberies over the last week, concentrated in the Phillips and Powderhorn neighborhoods. Police say it doesn't appear there's a connection between the cases.
The suspects used a gun in three of the robberies, and a knife in four other ones.
Police have only arrested one teen so far in their investigation.
