MPD Chief Harteau Marries Partner Of 25 Years

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - The city's top cop is now a married woman.

According to the spokeswoman for Minneapolis Police, Chief Janeé Harteau married her partner of 25 years, Holly Keegel, on Friday.

Chief Harteau announced her marriage Saturday night on Twitter.

"Yes it's true! I married my soulmate of 25 yrs last night.Thx 4 support &grateful for folks that fought for us all!" tweeted Chief Harteau.

Keegel is also with the the MPD.
