Minnesota Cheese Fest Hits State Fairgrounds
FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) -- Wisconsin may be known for its cheese, but Minnesota lays claim to one of the country's largest locally produced cheese festivals.
This weekend you can sample some of the best mozzarella, Gouda or Colby at the Minnesota Cheese Festival on the State Fairgrounds.
There will be guided cheese tastings, a mozzarella pulling demonstration, and hosting a session on how to cut, store, serve and present your cheeses.
The Cheese Festival takes place this Saturday and Sunday at the International Bazaar on the fairgrounds. There are two sessions daily from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. There are also $65 VIP tickets available that include access to exclusive demonstrations and gourmet cheese tastings. Tickets must be purchase in advance.
