Kids Enjoy Adaptive Skiing At Buck Hill

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Some kids who don't usually get to enjoy winter sports were able to hit the slopes Saturday.

Eighteen kids who are getting treatment at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare spent the day skiing at Buck Hill in Burnsville.

The kids were fitted with special adaptive equipment. Based on their physical abilities, they could either ski alone or with a partner.

This is the sixth year for the event.
