Gophers Fall To South Dakota,101-89, In WNIT
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The storied career of senior Rachel Banham came to an end Sunday as the University of Minnesota women's basketball team lost to South Dakota, 101-89, in the WNIT.
Banham led the Gophers with 37 points in the loss and finished her college career with 3,093 points. Shayne Mullaney and Mikayla Bailey also played their final games for Minnesota. Mullaney scored eight points and Bailey finished with three.
Carlie Wagner recorded her 1,000th career point as she finished with 18 points in the loss. The Gophers finished the season 20-12.
