MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- University of Minnesota senior Rachel Banham had a big game to lead the Gopher women's basketball team to a win over Memphis on Saturday.
Banham was named the Big Ten's Player of the Week on Monday. The senior scored 23 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, had three assists and two steals as the Gophers beat Memphis 70-60. She scored at least 20 points for the eight straight game and recently passed Lindsay Whalen to become the program's all-time leading scorer.
