Fox Crossing Highway Causes Motorcycle Accident
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 26-year-old Ely man is lucky to be alive after crashing his motorcycle to avoid hitting a fox.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says Brian Portinen was driving on Highway 21 in Morse Township Friday afternoon when a fox ran across the road.
Portinen slammed on his brakes, causing him to fly over the handlebars.
He suffered non-life threatening injures in the accident.
