Electric Car Drivers Taking Wheels To Capitol

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - If you've ever thought about owning an electric car, an event Sunday could help you decide.

As part of National "Drive Electric" Week, electric vehicle owners will gather at the state capitol Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

More than 80 plug-in vehicles are expected to be there.

The event will also have information about charging stations and electricity rate plans for owners.
