Dog Attack Leaves Woman Injured, Dog Dead
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minnesota woman is recovering from an attack that left her dog dead on Monday.
Investigators say two Boxers jumped a fence and killed Julie Lingl's small dog in St. Joseph Township Monday afternoon.
The dogs then attacked the 61-year-old, causing severe injuries to her legs and cuts to her face, hands and arms. Lingl went to the hospital.
The sheriff's office seized the dogs from owners Ray and Michelle Trak.
