Deputy Facing Charges In Roseau County Cabin Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Roseau County sheriff's deputy is on administrative leave and is facing multiple charges in connection with a shooting at a cabin.
Authorities say Joshua McGurran Olson is charged with felony damage to property and falsely reporting a crime. He allegedly fired multiple rounds into another person's cabin and falsely claimed to law enforcement that another firearm had been stolen.
Olson is on standard administrative leave while the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension investigates the case. He is due in Roseau County Court on June 9.
